Sausage week/Oktoberfest at the Black Jug

Friday 4th to Saturday 12th October

Bonnie and Clyde, Torville and Dean, Gin and Tonic...Oktoberfest and sausages?
We could think of no better pairing than two of Germany's most renowned exports.
Kicking off on the 4th October with Oktoberfest. Join us in our beautiful pub garden for a rumpus ruckus of rollocking fun. Make sure to don your lederhosen to encourage and aid the slapping of thighs as beers get quaffed while listening to live music. With an outdoor bar, you won't have to travel far to top up your stein.
At the same time, and running until the 12th October, we will be laying on Sausage Week. Whether you like your sausage grilled, curried or pricked - we'll have something sausage-y for your delectation. Alongside our daily menu, we will have an exclusive sausage menu running all day, every day, from the 4th to the 12th October.
This is guaranteed to be a fun (and sausage) filled week, as well as a nod to our German friends!
