The sun may be shining now (for the most part), but cool, heather scented mists will soon be rolling in from the Munros as we tentatively leave the warmer months.
Do not be perturbed, friend, instead allow the Black Jug to extend a welcoming hand and walk you through the mists in to our cosy pub with its roaring fires and smiling faces. To further help provide safe passage into these darker evenings, we will provide a warming blanket of malt and golden nectar in the form of our annual Black Jug whisky night.
Last year was a special evening, and with an even bigger range of single malt whisky from multiple regions of Scotland this is not one to be missed. The mystery distiller will be revealed nearer the time - so watch this space. Alongside a comprehensive tasting of some of the finest single malts on the market, we will be laying on a hearty sit down meal as well as a welcome drink on entry. Not bad, hey?
