Menus
Each day, before midday we upload the day's menus, it's always nice to whet your appetite before you even get to us. We also add in more detail about each dish in case you need to check out the ingredients for allergen information.
Pudding and Cheese Menu
One of the best things about eating out is sooner or later, you get to puddings and cheese...
Where certain allergens are highlighted the allergen may relate to just one component of the dish, which may easily be substituted or removed. For more information please ask one of our crew.
We always advise you to mention any food allergies or intolerances when ordering. We are happy to provide allergy guidelines to support you in making your own menu choice; however, we cannot recommend or tell you what is suitable for you to eat or drink.
Allergies, Intolerances and Dietary Requirements - We actively manage the main fourteen allergens recognised by the Food Standards Agency (see below) but are unable to give information on allergens outside of this. We will, of course, do what we can to accommodate requests outside these fourteen, but these will be put through to the kitchen as a ‘request’ not an allergy order.
Cross Contamination - Our food is prepared in areas where cross contamination may also occur. This means that we can never guarantee a dish is completely free from any allergens or specific ingredients. We declare allergens if they are intentionally added to a product. Where our suppliers have indicated possible cross contamination risks, we also declare their allergen ‘may contain’ risks. If the food is served in its packaging, we advise you to refer to the manufacturer’s label. If you are concerned about possible allergen cross contamination of the food you wish to consume, please ask us for further information on our cooking methods and policies.
Gluten Free - Where we offer gluten free dishes, controls are in place to ensure that dishes contain no more than 20 parts per million gluten; however, as we handle many allergens in our busy kitchens, we therefore cannot guarantee all traces of allergens are completely removed.

Our Cheeses
Blacksitcks Blue - This farmhouse soft blue-veined cheese is made from pasteurised milk from the Butler's family herd of pedigree cows, on the farm in Inglewhite, Lancashire. The cheese is aged for about eight weeks, during which it develops a distinctive amber hue
Snowdonia Black Bomber - The multi-award-winning Black Bomber is a modern classic. Marrying a deliciously rich flavour with a smooth creaminess, the Cheddar cheese lasts long on the palate and remains demandingly moreish
Ravens Oak Brie - Creamy white soft goat's cheese that's handmade traditionally and poured into small moulds. This goat's cheese has a subtle nutty flavour reminiscent of almonds, which develop as the cheese naturally matures within its delicate white rind
Sandhams Creamy Lancashire - Light cream coloured cheese with slightly open cut surface imparting a smooth creamy slightly open consistent texture. Clean fresh flavour with a creamy feel
Golden Cross Goats - Sweet, soft and delicately goaty and grassy, with an ice cream like texture. The young cheese is rolled in ash, and then matured for a couple of weeks to allow growth of a natural rind and the development of a more complex flavour
