End of Summer Party & Country Fete ~ Saturday 14th September

Whilst we may not have seen as much of summer as we may have liked to, we thought we might as well see out the warmer season with a bang! So shake of those back-to-school blues and join us for our final garden party of the summer.
Featuring live music, entertainment, our ever-popular dog show, a collection of classic cars, craft stalls, drinks suppliers, outside bars, and of course our BBQ - there really is something for everyone to enjoy - plus our kids craft & bake-off competitions as well!

Dog Show Classes
With prizes galore, our ever-popular dog show gets underway at 2pm, so ensure you arrive in plenty of time to enter your four-legged friend. All classes are £1.50 each with all proceeds being donated to our chosen charity - Dogs for Good.
1) Most Handsome Dog
2) Prettiest Bitch
3) Best Small / Medium Breed
4) Best Large / X-Large Breed
5) Best Youngster (under 2)
6) Golden Oldie (Over 10)
7) Best Rescue
8) Best Working Breed
9) Young Handler (under 12)
Followed by championship (best in show)
10) Dog the judge would most like to take home
11) Sausage Throw
12) Musical sit

Kids Craft Competitions 
Stuck for something to do with the kids in the last week of the holiday? Then why not take part in one of our craft competitions, simply create your craft from home and bring it along on the day to be displayed and judged - all entries must be onsite for 2pm ahead of judging at 3pm. 
Each craft section is to be split as follows: under 10/11-13/14-16 with prizes for each age category in each class.
Classes as follows:
1) 2-D Art (theme: British Wildlife)
2) Shoebox Art (theme: my perfect garden)
3) 3-D Model (theme: sustainability/made from recycled goods)
Entries to be made on the day with an entry fee of £1.00 per entry to be donated to our chosen charity, Samuel's Charity

The Falcon does Bake-Off
You can't have a fete without a baking competition! Bring your perfect bake with you on the day and get ready to be judged, with prizes for each class.
All items to be onsite by 2pm ahead of judging at 3pm.
Classes as follows:
1) Cakes & Cookies
2) Savoury Bakes
3) Jams & Chutneys
Entries to be made on the day with an entry fee of £1.00 per entry to be donated to our chosen charity, Samuel's Charity

A true family affair
So take a load off, relax in our garden listening to our live music, view our exhibitors or take part in one of our garden activities, there really is something for everyone!
