Our first wedding here at the Little FoxSaturday 13th April 2019
This March we hosted our first Wedding and what a great success it was! A massive congratulations to the bride and groom that joined us for a three course sit down dinner. The day started with a glass of chilled champagne for guests on arrival which led them in to our cosy bar area, the fire was roaring and there was a great atmosphere all round! The guests then made their way in to the dining area.
The bride and groom chose one of our 3 course menus. The meal started with smoked salmon and samphire, horseradish crème fraiche and cucumber jelly. There was also a vegetarian option of red pepper arancini with olive tapenade, sun blush tomato and caper salad. These were followed by pan-roasted chicken supreme with chorizo and basil boulangerie potatoes and sautéed greens, the vegetarian option being Appleby’s cheese and potato pie with carrot puree, roast parsnips and red wine jus. The 3 courses finished with a raspberry meringue roulade with raspberry sorbet. Their meal was accompanied nicely by an Argentinian Malbec and an Italian Pinot Grigio.
The evening was very relaxed, with the Bride and Groom bringing their own music for their guests to enjoy.
