Disabled facilities

Disabled access is via the front car park and through the main entrance. We have a disabled loo at ground level, so if you need a table that is close to disabled amenities, please let us know.

Children and minors

Whilst primarily an adult's environment, children are welcome in areas away from the bar, although the pub is not very suitable for babies and toddlers in the evenings. We have changing facilities and some high chairs available.

Parking

We have a car park (including disabled parking) with easy access to the front entrance of the pub

Unfortunately we are not able to offer overnight parking for campervans or motorhomes. If you are looking for somewhere to stay, our next door neighbours 'Rake Meadows' have overnight pitches with some facilities - Click here for details.

Prams and pushchairs

In our larger rooms we are able to accommodate prams and pushchairs, although some of the smaller areas are too constricted to allow us to do so. Please don't hesitate to ask if you need somewhere to store yours while you're with us.

Dogs

Dogs of the well behaved and 'on-the leash' variety are welcome in the bar area - we please ask for dogs to remain on the floor and not on the furniture.

If you are booking a table and bringing a dog please make us aware so we can assign a specific table for you.

Bookings

We do take bookings, but we try to make sure that there is room for customers who are not able to book in advance, so if you have not made a reservation, it's not the end of the world. If there are no tables free we run a waiting list.

Please make bookings by calling or using our online bookings calendar link at the top of the page. Unfortunately we are not able to take bookings via email or facebook.

We don't reserve any of our outside tables so if you enjoy a little alfresco dining these are on a first come first served basis.

Sadly due to our operation we are not able to cater for very large parties or groups.

Dress code

We’re a relaxed pub and love a good pint by the fire after a good walk, so we welcome muddy paws and boots. We do just ask that those in high vis, workwear or sportswear change before popping along to see us.
